It is a popular spot during the summer weekends, but during the week it is easy to find an unannounced spot. The camp hosts are friendly and knowledgeable, and the campground offers a great location for hiking. There is a grocery store located two hours away, so visitors should plan accordingly. Fires are allowed, even during burn bans, and sites 41-44 offer amazing sunrise and sunset views.
