The park is nestled in the shadow of the crags and snowfields of 9415 foot Mt. Stuart and is bordered by the bright pure waters of Pehastin Creek. The park offers privacy, quietude, and great beauty, making it a perfect retreat for retired couples, families, vacationers, and outdoor sports enthusiasts looking for an overnight or extended stay. The park offers a variety of activities, including river rafting, hiking, horseback riding, wine tasting, mountain biking, sailing, boating, tubing, golfing, fishing/hunting, rock climbing, birding, and wagon rides. The park also offers snowmobile/ATV rentals. The park is close to Wenatchee National Forest and Leavenworth, a Bavarian village that has become a pillar of the tourism industry in the Pacific Northwest. The park is also close to the Leavenworth Summer Theater, which offers live performances of classic shows like The Sound of Music, Sugar, and Kiss Me Kate. The park offers high-speed internet and is open for reservations.
