This campground is a great location for those looking to explore the northern portion of the Olympic Peninsula. It is conveniently located between Port Angeles and Sequim, and is close to Hurricane Ridge. The campground is an old park, and the spaces are narrow for larger rigs, but the owner is friendly and accommodating. The sites are overgrown grass and gravel, with many little dips or holes, and the restrooms and showers are closed for the winter. The campground is kept clean and mowed, and there is a large fenced off-leash area for dogs. The Wi-Fi has a strong signal, and the owners are available around the clock to help with parking, finding a vet in town, and offering insiders advice. However, the campground is close to the highway, so there is constant traffic noise. Additionally, the Internet and AT&T signal can be intermittent.
