What others are saying about this campground
Klahowya Campground is a great spot for a traditional campground experience on the Sol Duc River in the Olympic Peninsula. The campsites are well spread apart and offer a variety of sizes, from tent-only sites to RV sites with electric hookups. There is also an access point for the Olympic Discovery Trail across the highway, and a river access point for tubing. The campground is open year-round, though some amenities may be closed in the off-season. The sites are $17/night and can be crowded on weekends during the summer, so it is best to get an early start to get the best spots. The campground is peaceful and offers beautiful views of the river. There is also a Pioneer Trail with historical information. Firewood is available for purchase nearby.
