While it is a busy area with no river access from the campground, there are many wonderful trails to explore the park and the coast. Although a bit dusty, RV campers have access to electricity and water, but there are no shower or restroom facilities in the RV area. Restrooms are 1/2 mile away. For a $10 fee, an RV dump station nearby is available. Sol Duc Hot Springs resort is crowded and expensive, with advanced reservations. The hot spring pools are warm and relaxing, great for unwinding after a day of exploring. It costs $18 for a 90-minute session in a warm concrete swimming pool. The pool area has three mineral pools of different temperatures and one large chlorinated, fresh water pool. Lockers are available, but campers must bring their own locks and leave the shower stalls open. The gift shop has snacks and souvenirs at good prices. Overall, Sol Duc Hot Springs RV & Campground is a decent option for camping in the Olympic National Park area, but there are other campgrounds in Washington that might be more impressive.

Sol Duc Hot Springs RV & Campground is a peaceful and secluded campground located in Port Angeles, Washington. The campground offers 17 RV sites and 81 camping sites, all located under a lush green canopy of old growth forest. The resort's main lodge offers access to three hot mineral-spring pools and a swimming pool. The campground is conveniently close to the resort's pools, dining, and shopping. The RV sites are equipped with frost-free water hydrants and water lines, lighted power pedestals with 50-amp connections. The camping sites are standard non-electric with limited privacy from other campers. The campground offers animal-proof food lockers for the safety of all guests. Two pets per rented RV or tent campsite are allowed. Service dogs are always welcomed at all campgrounds.
