Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort is a campground located in Olympic National Park along the Sol Duc River. It is tucked inside a moss-covered forest and offers a unique and tranquil experience. All campsites have fire rings with metal grates for grilling, tables, bear lockers, and parking spots. Some sites are directly on the river while others are on a small tributary. Hiking trails offer scenic views and access to Sol Duc Falls and the nearby Hoh Rainforest and Lake Crescent. There are no hot water or showers but the nearby Hot Springs Resort offers showers for an additional fee. Wildlife such as blacktail deer and Roosevelt elk can be seen in the area. Campsites can be reserved beginning the end of April and firewood can be purchased at the Hot Springs Resort. Garbage must be kept secure and food must be stored in cars to avoid attracting bears.

From The Campground

Fairholme Campground is located near Lake Crescent and offers lakeside campsites and a nearby boat launch. The campground has 88 total sites, all of which are reservable during the peak season. Some sites may be reserved up to 6 months in advance. Any unreserved or cancelled sites will be sold in person at the ranger tent in the parking lot at the Fairholme boat dock during posted hours. Campsites are first-come, first-served outside the reservation period. The campground has flush toilets and potable water. RVs up to 21 feet are allowed. Dump station is available for $10 per use.
