Hood Canal RV Park is a small, well-maintained campground with 15 sites overlooking the beautiful Hood Canal. The interior roads are crushed stone and the sites are spacious, concrete and level, with a picnic table and 50 amp hookups. The sites offer stunning views of the Hood Canal, and many are waterfront. There are two unisex bathrooms and a laundry room with a couple of washers and dryers. The RV park is associated with a motel and cabins, and there is a small selection of toiletries and snacks available for sale at the office. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the park is very close to US 101 with lots of traffic and construction noises. There is a rocky beach area, two nice BBQs, and a crab boiling pot. The park is about a 2-hour drive from Seattle via the Southworth ferry, and about 1.5 hours from Tacoma via the Narrows Bridge. The standard rate is $40 per night, and there is a Resort Fee which offsets the Good Sam discount. Quiet hours are strictly enforced, and the park is a great place to stay for anyone traveling to this part of Washington.
