What others are saying about this campground
Iron Creek Campground in Randle, WA is a peaceful and secluded campground with over 90 campsites available. The forest is very dense with incredibly tall trees that are around 600 years old. If youre looking to escape the heat, youll find a spectacular canopy of shade here. The trail surrounding the lake is an easygoing and peaceful hike with stunning views of Mt. Adams at the day-use parking lot. Families love to come to the campground for proper bonding and making memories. It is a perfect spot for lakeside hanging, fishing, and paddleboarding, with campsite availability being quite high in the Fall. New vault toilets are being installed in A-Loop and host sites will have electricity. The vault toilets are being kept very clean and stocked. The river is beautiful with plenty of trails to explore the site. There are campsites that are situated along the water with trails leading to them. There is a water pump available, but the water is not potable, so be sure to bring your own. The restrooms dont have toilet paper. Dont forget to bring your own bathroom essentials. The campground is located 9 miles south of Randle on FS 25, and the road can be a bit rough in certain spots. If you have a 30 ft TT, it may fill the parking pad, but you probably wont need to unhook the truck. A 40ft would be the maximum length possible. Overall, Iron Creek Campground is a real winner of a site. Its peaceful and private, and many visitors recommend Loop C and Loop D as the best spots to camp nearest to the river.
