From The Campground

Horse Camp: Keenes is a high elevation campground located in Gifford Pinchot National Forest. The campground offers 13 single sites, 26 hi-line posts, one mounting ram, and two manure bins. Water for stock is available, but visitors must bring their own drinking water. The campground is surrounded by lodgepole pine and mixed conifers, and the Mt. Adams Wilderness is just outside the campground to the south. Numerous trails are nearby including the High Lakes Trail #116, Keenes Trail #120, and Muddy Meadows Trail #13. The campground is open from June to September and offers first-come, first-served sites.
