From The Campground

Kanaskat-Palmer State Park is a 541-acre camping park on a low, forested plateau, with 2 miles of shoreline on the Green River. The park offers activities such as trout fishing, rock hopping, wading, and hiking. The Green River Gorge provides some of the region's best rapids for rafting and kayaking, but only for expert-level enthusiasts. Overnight accommodations include 25 tent spaces, 19 partial-hookup sites with electricity, and six yurts. The park also has a group camp that accommodates up to 80 people. Park amenities include restrooms, showers, picnic areas, fire circles, horseshoe pits, and a boat launch.
