The bathrooms are clean and well kept and the park is patrolled regularly by the park staff. Located on the southeast shore of Curlew Lake, this well-kept state park is a great spot for rest and relaxation. The lake has a bloom of algae and mill weed, but is still a great spot for fishing, swimming, and other water sports. There is a boat launch onsite and the lake has a speed limit to keep it peaceful. The park is spread out over a grassy area with a variety of sites to choose from. Pull-through full hookup sites, back-in partial hookup sites, and walk-in tent sites are available. The tent sites are situated on grassy knolls with views of the lake and some even have direct access to the lake. There is a nature trail that winds through the hills and past a pond and marsh area. The bathrooms are clean and well kept, and the park is patrolled regularly by the park staff. The nearby town of Republic has a decent-sized IGA for groceries, convenience stores, and a few restaurants.
