What others are saying about this campground
This campground is conveniently located next to the I-5 freeway, making it easy to access and get back on the highway. Despite the close proximity to the freeway, the campground offers plenty of amenities including a disc golf course, a picnic area, an amphitheater, a hiking trail, and a romantic picnic area next to a river. The campground offers both utility and standard slots with fire rings, large picnic tables, and plenty of room to pitch a tent. Primitive sites also have tent pads, picnic tables, and fire rings. However, due to the close proximity to the freeway, the campground is often quite noisy and can be quite loud at night. The staff is helpful and accommodating, and the sites are clean. Discounts are available through Passport America and Good Sam, however the value for what is paid is not as high as expected. The sewer dump is tricky to drive through if you are staying on the lower loop.

From The Campground

Paradise Point State Park is a 101-acre camping park with 6,180 feet of freshwater shoreline next to the interstate. The park offers unguarded swimming on the Lewis River and campsites in open grass or wooded areas as well as a small apple orchard. The park's proximity to Interstate 5 and long sandy beach make this a popular swim spot for local families, and the disc golf course can be a great play day destination on summer afternoons. On misty mornings, the park has the feel of a wetland and makes for a picturesque stroll. The park is an option for car campers who need a night of rest as they travel the Interstate. Paradise Point also offers cozy yurts backed by quiet woodland for overnight stays.
