Howard Miller Steelhead County Park in Rockport, WA is a great choice for campers. This is a wonderful place to stay for a few nights while visiting North Cascades and Mt. Baker. The sites are well spaced out, with fire pits and picnic tables. It is a beautiful area to relax by the river and the short trails at the west end of the park are nice. Many people come here for fishing on the river, which starts early each morning and can be a bit noisy. Overall, we enjoyed our time here and felt that it was one of the better campgrounds we have stayed at during our travels.

Howard Miller Steelhead Park is a beautiful campground located in Rockport, WA. The campground offers tent sites for $20.00 per night, which includes two tents per site and one vehicle. Extra vehicles are charged at $5.00 per night, and extra tents are charged at $10.00 per night. The maximum stay is 14 days. The park is managed by Rusty Regan and offers amenities such as pet-friendly sites, quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM, and alcoholic beverages allowed within the confines of campsites only. The park also offers activities such as hiking, fishing, and wildlife viewing. The Skagit River Interpretive Center and the Bald Eagle Awareness Team are nearby attractions.
