Scenic Beach State Park in Seabeck, WA is a great choice for a camping getaway. The park is situated on 110 acres and has two camping loops with a variety of pull-through and back-in sites, all surrounded with trees. Although the road to access the campsites is narrow and has some turns, most of the sites provide a decent amount of privacy. The tent sites are leveled and have fire rings and picnic tables, and the pull-thru sites have an area that is close to level for RVs. The park also has a large day-use area for picnics and access to over 1,000 feet of Hood Canal. While the upper loop is closed during the winter season, the lower loop is available year-round, and several sites are suitable for hammocking with breathtaking views of the Eastern Olympic Mountains. The park is also home to Emmel House, an original residence of the first settlers of the property, with two of the oldest maple trees in Washington on a large lawn, which can be rented for special events.
