The SouWester Resort is a historic lodge and vintage RV park, located on the Long Beach Peninsula. It offers a range of rustic cabins, vintage travel trailers and RV sites, all with full hookups. Wi-Fi is available, but can be slow at times. The beach is less than a mile away and there are two good restaurants within easy walking distance. Guests can also take advantage of a small fleet of loaner bicycles. There is a large community recreation building and fire ring, although most sites do not have their own fire pits or tables. The staff is friendly and helpful, and there is a massage service available. There are also vintage trailers for rent, making this a great place for a glamping experience.

The Sou’wester Lodge and Vintage Travel Trailer Resort is a hodgepodge of accommodation types including 30+ vintage travel trailers, folksy cabins, lodge suites, and RV/camp sites on the Long Beach Peninsula in historic Seaview, Washington. We are just a few blocks from the beach, Discovery Trail, and only 15 miles from Astoria, Oregon. Our location makes us perfectly situated to explore the rich history, natural beauty, and lush bounty of the Pacific Coast. The Sou’wester grounds feature fire rings, picnic tables, and a meditation garden. Our three story lodge is a time-capsule with cozy lounge, balcony, and must-browse VHS/Vinyl lending library. The porch market is full of thoughtful provisions, local wine and beer and handmade souvenirs for the perfect summer getaway. We host a wide range of immersive programming including our year-round Artist Residency Program, Live Music, and Workshops as well as unique on-site attractions like our “Thrifty” Trailer, Art Trailer Gallery, Geodesic Dome, and Red Bus Theater. We’ve also taken time to create intentional and relaxing spaces for our guests to enjoy, like the lovely Garden Spa and Finnish Sauna or cozy Tea and Wellness Trailers. No resort fee.
