What others are saying about this campground
The lake is small and not very clean but the views are beautiful. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. The price was a bit high for what you get but it is the only place around. This campground is situated on the north end of Sprague Lake, surrounded by rolling rocky land with no green in sight. Its a peaceful spot, but the distant sound of the BNSF trains running across the lake can be heard throughout the day and night. The campsites are located on lush grass under shady trees, offering beautiful views of the lake. The lake is not very clean, however, and the shoreline is littered with dead fish that can smell awful. The owner is friendly and single-handedly maintains the grounds in beautiful shape, but the price is a bit high for what you get. There is an extra charge for sewer, Wi-Fi, and using a credit card, and no discounts are available. The park is not fancy, but it is a pleasant surprise in a dry high desert area.
