Timberlake Campground & RV Park is a small campground nestled in the woods above the Columbia Gorge. The staff is very helpful and the park is well-maintained. The location is great, with a rustic setting that provides plenty of shade from the trees. The park has Wi-Fi, which can be slow at times, but its a great improvement over other parks along the river which were sandwiched between the road and railroad tracks. There is a very large grassy area for dogs to enjoy and the bathrooms and showers are spacious and clean. Though the roads leading to the park are steep and narrow, it is easy to navigate with a truck and fifth wheel, and 4-wheel drive is recommended. Overall, Timberlake Campground & RV Park is a beautiful and clean park and a great place to stay for those exploring the nearby area.
