From The Campground

Kalispell Island Group Site is a primitive tent camping site located on the west shore of Priest Lake in Idaho. The site is accessible by boat only and offers 52 camp units with established fire pans at each site. The campground does not offer drinking water or trash collection, so campers must bring their own water and garbage bags. The site accommodates groups ranging from 10 to 30 people and offers vault toilets, picnic tables, and campfire rings. Attractions include scenic 25,000-acre Priest Lake, motorized and non-motorized boating, swimming, and fishing opportunities. The campground is open from late May to mid-September and has a 14-day camping limit. Pets must be leashed at all times, and quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. No glass bottles are allowed on the beaches, and no bathing or washing dishes in the lake. The closest town is Priest River, Idaho.
