This campground is a great alternative to the higher cost of camping at the gorge. It offers basic and premium rates, full hookups, trees, grass, picnic tables, and a boat ramp. It is an older park, a bit worn, but in a beautiful location right along the Columbia River. It has a variety of sites, both large and small, and the staff can be reached by phone for early check-in. The showers are clean but have a weak stream and a faucet that is hard to regulate. There are loud hay trucks during the day, but it is quiet at night. Check-in can be confusing as you have to go to the gas station to pay. The hookups work fine and cell phones work in the area. There is a view of the Columbia River from the RV park and nice shade trees between the rows of sites. The sewer connection can be hard to find and the laundry room is locked, but it is cheaper than the nearby state park.
