Westport Campground is an older campground that caters to fishing enthusiasts. It is under new ownership and is in the process of being upgraded to a first-class facility. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, with the new owner Spencer providing excellent customer service. The campground has nice woodsy sites with concrete pads, a heated pool, a fantastic fish cleaning area, and a club house. It is within a mile of town, the beach, lighthouse, observatory tower and more. The laundry room has 4 washers and 2 huge dryers at reasonable prices. All in all, Westport Campground is a great place to stay for a reasonable price and with friendly owners.
