Pearrygin Lake State Park is a beautiful campground located on the shore of Lake Pearrygin in Washington. The park offers two distinct campgrounds, the original East campground and the recently acquired West campground. The East campground is the original state park and is nicely groomed with lots of grass and big trees. The sites are large and offer plenty of shade, making it ideal for motorhomes, trailers, and truck campers. There are water and electric hook-ups available, but the water spigots are not threaded so you cant attach a hose. The West campground is spread with loose sand and the sites are all close together. The bathrooms are small and there is no soap dispenser. Cell coverage is good and there are lots of hiking and biking trails around the lake. The nearby town of Winthrop offers plenty of shopping and dining options. Reservations for the summer months should be made 6 months in advance to secure a spot.
From The Campground
Pearrygin Lake State Park offers two cabins with kitchenettes, picnic tables, electric heat, lights, locking doors, and bathrooms with toilets. Showers are available nearby. Each cabin is 16-by-16-feet in size and is furnished with twin bunk beds, a full-size bed, and small table with two chairs. The kitchen has a microwave, coffee pot, two-burner cook top, sink, and under-counter refrigerator. Outside is a fire pit and a deck. Firewood and ice are available for sale at the West Campground Office and East Camp host site. Winthrop and Twisp are full-service communities located nearby. There are medical clinics in each town. The nearest hospitals are one hour away in either Omak or Brewster. Also located nearby miniature golf, hiking and backpacking, full-sized nine-hole golf course and horse rentals.
