Riffle Run Campground is a meticulously maintained campground located on the northern end of the Corp of Army Engineer’s Burnsville Lake in West Virginia. This campground is unique in that it offers cell service, allowing visitors to stay connected while still enjoying the outdoors. The campground also offers a variety of amenities, including a playground, dump, fresh water fill-up, tables, fire-ring/grills, and a laundry. Additionally, the campground hosts special events, such as a Halloween site and costume decoration contest and trick or treating for the kids in the park and those from Burnsville area. The sites are spacious, mostly shaded, and gravel surfaced, with a fire ring and picnic tables. Unfortunately, there is no WiFi or cell service, but the nearby marina offers Verizon signal. Visitors should note that there are low hanging branches along the road to the campground due to recent rain.
