The park is very clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. The campground is located in a beautiful wooded area with deer grazing just thirty feet from the sites. There are three older loops that could use a bit of updating, but the park has plenty of staff to take care of any problems that may arise. There are full hookups and WIFI available, as well as a mini golf course, play area for children, and nature trails. The sites are paved and provide plenty of space for a private camping experience. The bathhouse is out of date and in need of renovation, but it is still clean. The park is also close to many attractions like Dolly Sods, Blackwater State Park, and Seneca Rocks. The campground is open year round and offers a quiet and dark atmosphere, perfect for star gazing.
