There is a steep hill down into the campground, but guests are advised to pass the campground, turn around in the space mentioned, and enter that way. Firewood is for sale on-site, and there is live music on Saturday nights. The campground is close to the New River Gorge Bridge and the Visitor Center, and is a great homebase for a weekend of exploring.
