Holly River State Park in Hacker Valley, WV is a top-rated park with absolutely beautiful hikes, ranging from moderate to challenging. Although getting in and out of the park may be challenging for large rigs or those not used to twisty, turny, steep, narrow mountain roads, campers find the sites nicely spaced with plenty of options for a tree-covered or open site. Camping options include tenting or RV camping with 30amp electric. There is no water at individual sites, but filling tanks from the central water supply is easy enough with long hoses. The park restaurant is outstanding and the Wi-Fi is the best some campers have ever experienced. Unfortunately, cell service is limited, but there is Wi-Fi throughout the park which works very well.
