The campground has plenty of trees but they are not a hazard to navigation. The owners and management are friendly, accommodating, and very flexible when space permits. The campground has a fenced dog park and a nice bathhouse. Each site has water and 30A power, with a dump station on site for easy tank emptying. There is a creek that runs along one side of the campground where kids and pets can run and play. The campground is a fantastic place for families with kids and pets. It is a great value for the amenities offered.

Lazy-A Campground is a family-owned and operated campground located in Back Creek Valley, West Virginia. The campground offers traditional camping and fishing, with private access to Back Creek. They also host family-oriented events throughout the year. Lazy-A Campground was founded in 1987 by Kathleen 'Granny' Ashton and is now owned by her granddaughter, Mariah Nims, and her husband, Nelson Nims. The new owners promise to continue the family-oriented, customer service-based business that Granny Ashton built. They plan to integrate new things while still keeping the peaceful environment as a rustic campground that it has always been known for.
