Adventures On the Gorge in Lansing, WV is a great spot for a weekend camping getaway. Although the RV sites are not necessarily private, we enjoyed our time with our neighbors and had a great time overall. Bathhouses were very clean and the firewood delivery made things easy for us. Just keep in mind that there are no water hookups available for campers. Despite the weather, our kids had a great time at the pool, and we enjoyed live music and dinner at the Canyon Rim restaurant. We went during off-season on Veterans Day weekend, meaning that it wasnt crowded at all. Facilities are really nice with a standout camping bathhouse. Although we did have a frustrating experience with check-in communication discrepancies, apart from that, we would still highly recommend this spot for a camping trip.
