Rockcliff Campground is a great place for camping and day trips alike. With beautiful mountain views, the campground offers 15amp electric at 14 of their sites, as well as a picnic table and fire ring at each site. There are 3 not so great bath houses, but the view makes up for it. There are tons of hikes to explore, from the 1 mile steep incline of the Lina Constable Overlook to the Rockcliff Lake Trail, which is rocky but level. The lake is crystal clear and full of trout, and the pond is an active sinkhole. There is also a beach area, a playground for kids, and a great arts cooperative with unique wares to purchase. Firewood is sold by locals just before the campground turn off. In case of an emergency, you are a 20 minute drive to call for help, and there is a pay phone installed at the end of the season last year. The area closes completely from Dec 21 - May 1.
