Beaver Creek Campground is the perfect spot for a peaceful and quiet camping experience. Located just 30 feet from the Greenbrier River, the campground is ideal for wading, tubing, canoeing, and kayaking. The Greenbrier Bike Trail is just across the river, with a bridge and trailhead at the park entrance. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table, and is well-maintained and in decent shape. There is direct access to the Greenbrier Rail Trail, and plenty of hiking trails, although some are closed due to hazardous conditions and lack of maintenance. The campground offers electric sites, with access to water to fill your tank and a dump station. There is no cell service for miles around, as the campground is located in a radio quiet zone. The sites are large with plenty of space between units, and there is a playground, volleyball court, horseshoes, and a gaga ball pit for children. The camp host couple ensures the bathhouses and wash stations are very clean, and delivers wood and ice. There is free fresh water and a dump station within the campground. The area offers plenty to do, from Cass Railroad and Bear Town to the Green Bank Observatory, Seneca Lake, Cranberry Glades, Droop Mountain, and the Highland Scenic Highway. There is a small but beautiful lake for paddle boats/canoeing, a swimming pool at the lodge, and lots of wildlife. There are two dish washing stations at each bathhouse with lots of hot water available. Beaver Creek Campground is the perfect spot for a peaceful, quiet, and well-maintained camping experience.
