What others are saying about this campground
Hamptons Summer Wind RV Park is a small and well-maintained campground. Although there are full-timers, it is primarily geared towards those looking for a short stay. The pull-through sites are mostly level and the FHU utilities work well. The campground is quiet overall, but you may hear some highway noise. Booking is slightly unconventional with no website or confirmation, but the manager is quick to respond to text and check-in is easy with an honor system payment. The park is conveniently located off I-64 and is a good option for those visiting the New River Gorge National Park. Starlink access is available and the views are nice. Despite being basic and not having amenities like playground, garbage pickup, or Wi-Fi, the campground is highly recommended for a good value overnight camping site.
