Seneca Shadows in Seneca Rocks, WV is a great campground with nice amenities. The bathrooms are well-maintained. Road noise from the main road and the mostly paved sites can be a bit of a distraction. The group sites provide an excellent view of Seneca Rocks, and the location is great for exploring the outdoors and nearby attractions like Dolly Sods, Spruce Knob, Blackwater Falls, and Seneca and Smokehole Caverns. Seneca Shadows has different types of sites to choose from, and the wooded sites offer plenty of privacy too. The camp host is friendly and helpful. The large tent-only section at the back of the campground offers stunning views of Seneca Rocks and has picnic tables and tent pads arranged around the edges. There are vault toilets located close to the tent section and real bathrooms with flushing toilets, running water, and showers are just up the road. Seneca Shadows is a destination, not just a stopover, and a perfect place to appreciate Seneca Rocks beauty.
