Doddridge County Park is a beautiful, well-maintained campground located in a scenic knoll setting. The park offers full-hookup sites with asphalt pads, as well as power and water-only sites with gravel pads. The park also offers a pool complex, outdoor clubhouse with fireplace and TV, and trails for hiking. The roads to the park are narrow and winding, with two steep downhill grades, so visitors should be aware of this when entering and exiting the park. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and the facilities are very clean. The pavilion is great for gatherings and the shower has plenty of hot water. There is also a small store with homemade items for purchase. The Bruce Family Reunion is held every 4th of July at Doddridge, making it a great place to stay for a week or more.
