Located in Ashland, Wisconsin, Kreher RV Park is a well-maintained city-run park along the shores of Lake Superior. As a first-come, first-serve campground, its recommended to arrive early as sites fill up fast. The park offers nice, level gravel pads with water and electric hook-ups provided for a reasonable nightly rate. The grounds are spacious, beautiful and clean, with a great playground and boat launch. There is a nice trail around the park, to the beach and Ore Dock, which presents many opportunities for walking and biking while enjoying beautiful views of the lake and boats. Although there are no trees for shade, the lake breeze keeps things cool. The park is quiet, allowing for a relaxing experience while being in the middle of the city and close to restaurants. Its a perfect place for RV camping, and the park is a hidden gem for those who appreciate beautiful lake views and walks along the shoreline.
