This campground is a great place to stay for those looking to explore the Mississippi River. With 40 sites located directly on the river, campers can easily access the main channel and pull their pontoon boats up to their site for the weekend. The sites are large and shaded, but some are not level, so it is best to ride through and choose your spot before checking in. The camp store has a good selection of supplies and fishing gear, including firewood and propane. Unfortunately, the campground is not suitable for motorhomes due to the narrow marina town you must pass through to reach the campground. There are also bugs and two train tracks that follow the river.
