Baileys Woods is a great campground located on the quiet side of Door Peninsula. It is kid and pet friendly and offers plenty to do in the area, including swimming in Lake Michigan, kangaroo lake along with beautiful hiking, shopping, and kayaking. It features a campground map on their website and is small but with large spaces and decent space between sites. There is a very fun playground, a camp store, two bathroom buildings that have showers, porta potties by the tent only camping sites, and charging stations by the porta potties. The owners are very accommodating and allow campers to put charges for firewood and things bought in the store on a tab. The sites are gravel, level, and some are pull-through. Firewood and ice are available on the honor system and the campground is very quiet. It is a great place to stay with family or friends, and there is something for everyone to enjoy in the area.

Baileys Woods Campground is a family-owned and operated campground located in beautiful Baileys Harbor, Wisconsin. Established in 1960, the campground offers over 85 quiet and shaded campsites for tents and RVs. Clean showers and flush toilets are available, as well as electricity and water hookups on select sites and a playground for kids. The campground enforces quiet time at 10 pm and requires parental supervision for campers 18 years and younger. Well-behaved pets and service animals are welcome, but must be leashed at all times. Owners are responsible for their pets' waste pick-up and disposal. Rates range from $40 for a tent site to $60 for a full hook-up site, with additional fees for extra adults, children, and vehicles. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of reservation, and cancellations must be made 7 days in advance of the reservation date. No-shows will be charged the full reservation amount.
