Hiking trails are well maintained and provide great views of the lake. Bathrooms are clean and well kept. Buffalo Lake Campground is a beautiful state park located in Montello, WI, close to the Wisconsin Dells attractions. The campground is mostly shaded with plenty of trees, shrubs, and vegetation between sites for added privacy. The sites are mostly dirt and gravel, with 50 amp service available at the double sites. There are no sewer hookups, but there is a dump station and potable water fill station near the park entrance. The staff are all friendly and informative, and the bathrooms and showers are clean and well kept. There are plenty of trails to explore, picnic areas, a beach, and canoe/kayak rentals. The lake is great for canoeing and kayaking, and the hiking trails provide great views of the lake. The campground is a little pricey for an electric-only site, but it is well worth the stay.
