Skillet Creek Campground in Baraboo, WI offers plenty of amenities for families to enjoy. Activities include a swimming pond that opened in 2023 and has a very nice sandy beach, a jumping pillow, and a catch and release pond (needs landscaping work). The playground is a bit far from some sites, so there is a need for a playground closer to the pond. Black top roads would be nice for children riding bikes and people using a walker to get around. Unfortunately, TV reception is not available, and there is no Wi-Fi. Game rooms and laundry facilities are available upstairs in the barn. Some visitors have complained that the laundry facilities shouldnt be placed upstairs, and it might change with improvements or new owners. The campground does not offer primitive sites, so there is limited seclusion. Tent campers can expect to hear noise from neighbors, playing children, and loud music up until 10 pm. The ground was unkept on one visitors site, making it difficult to place and lay flat on their tent. Although it is an expensive experience, families can still enjoy themselves at Skillet Creek Campground.
