From The Campground

Black River State Forest offers a variety of camping options including family campgrounds at Castle Mound, East Fork, and Pigeon Creek, group camping, and primitive camping. Castle Mound is a modern family campground with 35 sites, including 14 electric sites and one electric ADA designated site. East Fork is a rustic family campground with 24 non-electric sites and no ADA designated sites. Pigeon Creek is a rustic family campground with 38 non-electric sites and one non-electric ADA designated site. All campgrounds have amenities such as firewood sales, garbage and recycling stations, and toilet buildings. Pigeon Creek also has a swimming beach and access to interpretive and off-road bike trails.
