Yellowstone Lake State Park is a large state park located halfway between Mineral Point and New Glarus. The park offers a variety of outdoor activities for visitors. Beyond that is a local saloon, the closest option for dining out. The park also has hiking trails that are accessible from the campground and a walking trail around the lake.

Yellowstone Lake State Park is a 450-acre recreation area in southwestern Wisconsin. It offers year-round activities such as camping, swimming, fishing, boating, hiking, biking, picnicking, ice fishing, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing. The park has a large family campground and group camp, both of which are just a short walk from the beach and boat landing.
