From The Campground
Kettle Moraine State Forest - Northern Unit offers several camping areas including Mauthe Lake campground, Long Lake campground, Greenbush group campground, and New Prospect horseriders' campground. Mauthe Lake campground has 135 sites, including 51 electrical sites, and is open year-round. Long Lake campground provides 200 sites and is open from the first weekend in May through mid-October. Greenbush group campground offers nine outdoor sites that accommodate groups of up to 40 individuals and is open from April through November. New Prospect horseriders' campground has 22 family campsites with 20/30/50 amp electric service and three group sites. Five backpack shelters are also available year-round for rustic camping along the 31 miles of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail.
