What others are saying about this campground
Lake Wissota State Park in Chippewa Falls, WI is a beautiful and spacious state park with good placement of campsites, providing great shading and privacy. Wooded sites felt private, and the positioning provided enough space between you and your neighbors. There were electric and water sites available, and our 35 fifth wheel fit easily into the available space. While some sites were a bit tight to maneuver, pulling closer to the passenger side gives ample room for slide-outs. The park staff was mostly friendly and helpful, with the ranger making check-in effortless. If you dont have an annual park pass, overnight camping rates are reasonable and affordable. Although there were a few trails that prohibited dogs, many trail options were available for exploring with pets, making it a great spot for animal lovers. The Old Abe bike trail is a fantastic trail from which to enjoy the scenery. While the mobile internet varied, it managed sufficient speed for working. The mosquitoes are rare in the area, and there was sufficient shade to enjoy the outdoors. Lake Wissota High Shores Supper club is just a short distance from the campground and offers a delicious dinner. The showers were so-so, but for the price, its a minimal inconvenience. The temperature was a bit high but manageable. The campground hosted a decent dishwashing port, where campers could wash dishes with ease.
