Day Lake Campground is a picturesque US National Forest campground located in Wisconsin. It offers a variety of activities such as fishing, hiking, ATV and motorcycle trails, and an interpretive trail. The campsites are surrounded by trees for privacy, and are well maintained and spacious. There is no electricity, sewer, or sanitary dump, but there is a hand pump for water and clean pit toilets in each of the five loops. The lake is not visible from the campsites, but is only a short stroll away. The campground is a great spot for wildlife viewing, as it is elk territory. The campground is also a great spot for fall foliage, as the trees turn to a variety of colors. Prices start at $9/day with a Federal Senior pass.
