East Twin Lake Campground is a small, peaceful campground located in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. The campground offers 10 sites that can accommodate RV's up to 30 feet. Each campsite has a parking spur, fire ring, picnic table, and tent pad. Developed boat ramp, picnic area, drinking water, fishing pier, and vault toilets are available. The campground is perfect for fishing enthusiasts, with East Twin Lake and nearby West Twin Lake offering a variety of fish including bass, musky, and panfish. The campground is also a hiker's paradise, with the North Country National Scenic Trail and Porcupine Lake Wilderness nearby. Wildlife viewing opportunities are abundant, with bald eagles, deer, waterfowl, and grouse frequently spotted in the area. There is a picnic area at nearby Day Lake Recreation Area, and visitors can enjoy scenic driving tours during the fall season. Non-motorized water activities such as canoeing, kayaking, and paddling are also available at East Twin and West Twin Lakes.
