This campground is a great place to get away and enjoy nature. It is a 100 acre county park with plenty of space for walking your dog, and multiple trails for hiking and geocaching. The campground is divided into multiple levels, with some sites along the Crawfish River for trailers, and others up a hill on 3 levels. You can rent canoes and kayaks, and launch boats from the pier. There is no water at the sites, but it is available at the entrance. The shower/restroom by the main entrance is in need of repair. The upper sites are blacktopped and level, and the general appearance of the campground needs some TLC and updating. There is a lot of road noise, and a train track nearby. There is a nice playground and fire pits for campfires. The sites are spacious and level, with electric hookups available in 50, 30, and 20 amp. There is no water hookup, but you can fill your tanks at the entrance. This is a great spot for an overnight stay, and a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the countryside.

Astico Park is a 100-acre campground located in Dodge County, WI, split by the historic Danville Mill Pond of the Crawfish River. The park features 61 river's edge and upland campsites including riverside campsites with 50 amp service available, Astico Castle Playground, a restroom/shower facility, a dump station, picnic areas and shelters, shoreline and wooded hiking trails, large open play fields and an expansive river shoreline which provides good canoeing and fishing opportunities in a scenic setting. A canoe launch and canoe/kayak rentals are available.
