The Elkhorn Campgrounds at the Walworth County Fairgrounds is a great place to escape to or visit if youre just passing through. It is a small campground with not many frills, but it is quiet and within walking distance to downtown Elkhorn, EAHS, and the horse arena. There are hook-ups and fire pits available if needed, as well as two dump stations. The campground is managed by the Fair office and is full of tall mature trees. It is roughly 35% longtime campers with permanent hookups. There is a small laundry with three operating machines. Unfortunately, the campground can be noisy during fairground events and the bathrooms are not always clean. However, the staff is friendly and it is conveniently located to all of the go-to spots near & around Walworth County.

Elkhorn Campgrounds is located on the beautiful Walworth County Fairgrounds. This is a nice discount priced campground because it does not have the expensive frills. You receive a nice camp spot with electric and water hook-up access, with dump stations on the grounds. Affordable and conveniently located near shopping, dining, and entertainment. This location makes the Elkhorn Campgrounds an ideal event site for event planners and visitors. We're just an hour from Milwaukee, Madison, Kenosha, and Rockford, Illinois; just 10 minutes from Lake Geneva and 30 minutes from Janesville.
