The Fon Du Lac Fairgrounds is a great place to park a camper with full hook ups in the middle of the city. It is affordable and within walking distance to a coffee shop and a pizza place. The campground has a bathhouse with two showers, but they lack privacy and can be a bit creepy. There are no restrictions on noise or quiet hours, and the campground host warned not to leave anything unattached. The American Legion is within walking distance, and the aquatic center is closed for 2021. The campground has full hook ups, gravel pads, and is quiet. It is a great place to stay if you need to be in Fond Du Lac.

From The Campground

The Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds offers 18 full hook-up camping sites that include water, sewer, and electricity. The camping area is located north of the grandstand area and all sites have 20, 30 and 50 AMP service. Picnic tables are available upon request and bathrooms/showers are available during normal business hours. The fairgrounds also has 2 shelters with electricity, picnic tables, and grills, as well as playground equipment and grills located throughout the park.
