From The Campground
Waubedonia Park is a hidden gem located in Ozaukee County, Wisconsin. It is the only county park that offers camping and is just a short drive from the Milwaukee metro area, making it an ideal destination for a quick weekend getaway. The park offers 13 rustic campsites that are open from the first Saturday in May through the third Saturday in October, weather permitting. Visitors can enjoy fishing for smallmouth bass and northern pike right from the front of their tent, as well as boating, canoeing, and kayaking at the public launch. The park also has a rentable open-air pavilion with enough picnic tables to seat 100 people, banquet tables, and a large outdoor grill. Additionally, there is a small section of the park north of County Road H for picnicking and fishing.
