What others are saying about this campground
Roche-A-Cri State Park is a hidden gem located in Adams County, Wisconsin. Surrounded by old growth pines, the park is home to the Roche A’ Cri mound, a soaring skyward monolith with prehistoric petroglyphs. There are plenty of trails, a viewing tower with a spectacular view, and a variety of wildlife. The campsites are spacious, wooded, and well spaced, offering benches and picnic tables. Pit toilets are clean and maintained. Though there is some highway noise, it is only during the day. The park is a great basecamp for exploring the area, with Devils Lake and other parks nearby. There are also plenty of fishing holes a short drive away. The junior ranger program provides fun park activities for kids. There are also many playgrounds, paved paths, and hiking trails. Camping is rustic but nice, with a dump station and no sewer at the sites. The park is a great place for families, couples, and singles adventuring alike.
