What others are saying about this campground
Chippewa Campground in Gilman, WI boasts three loops with various spacious sites, each equipped with a fire pit and picnic table. Majority of the sites have level ground. The lake, located nearby, offers a trail to a dock and beach area. The campground has clean bathrooms with flush toilets and token-operated showers. Although there are ATV trails, campers report that they were not disruptive. The waterfront sites fill up quickly, but a nearby boat ramp and fishing pier allow for easy access to the water. For those interested in kayaking, there are trails available in the main campground area. The campground is generally quiet, and even on busy weekends, the crowds are manageable. Mosquitoes can be bothersome, but its to be expected in a flowage lake area. Visitors who enjoy a peaceful environment despite a lack of planned activities recommend this campground.

From The Campground
Chequamegon Waters Flowage Campground is a great place for fishing enthusiasts. The shallow boat landing located by the campground provides easy access to the water. The campground is also a great place for nature viewing, with opportunities to see waterfowl and other animals and birds in and around the water. The Rustic Loop allows the operation of ATVs and UTVs to and from your campsite to the Perkinstown ATV Trail. The campground is also great for non-motorized water activities such as canoeing, kayaking, and paddleboarding. A rock and sand beach area is available for registered campers only.
