This campground has something for everyone. It is located in the middle of town and near the Wood River, with wooded trails and a small dam with a walking bridge. There are seasonal guests, but the ones encountered were friendly. It is close to Crex Meadows Wildlife area and has a view of the Brickfield Brewery. Saturday night features a one-man band and a pulled pork food truck. It has a nice, quiet setting, with power hookups and weekly or monthly rates. The sites are level, but may be close together, and have full hookups, picnic tables and fire pits. It is within walking distance of town and great for visitors of Crex Meadows Wildlife Area. It is a clean, well maintained park and big rig friendly. Visitors would not hesitate to return.
